WTF brain?

Things I've been thinking lately (don't ask why, my brain is a strange place):
  • If Tony Stark is genderbent, where is her arc reactor located? If above the tits: too high, too close to neck and too far a way to be effective to prevent the shrapnel entering her heart (as far as I know at least); if where it is on male Tony Stark, wouldn't that just push her tits away from each other and be extremely uncomfortable being the size it is...
  • It is said (at least in fanon) that Hulk's/Bruce Banner's bodily fluids are toxic/dangerous to others and having sex without condom is not advisable... So, where does that leave kissing?
Whew! Glad to have those of my chest...

Well, as I'm sure you all know I'm currently unemployed. That means I have plenty of time on my hands. Lately I've been using it sewing various things. I love sewing, it's very therapeutic to me (when all goes well that is) so I try to do it whenever I can.

I had this piece of fabric with paper cut-out dolls on it that I was desperate to use somewhere, but until recently I had no idea what to make of it. So bag it became.

Other side:

I also made this pillowcase for my stepfather who likes Cars very much and has wanted this for some time now.

And last, but not least I have this unfinished project that I will finish tomorrow or day after tomorrow. When finished it will be a full skirt and when I find a proper petticoat it'll look even better.

1. Which TV shows did you start watching in 2011?
I can think of a few. Glee (because of Kurt/Blaine storyline), How I Met Your Mother (because NPH is amazing in his role), QI (Stephen Fry is my god!) and few others I'm sure but right now can't remember.

2. Which TV shows did you let go of in 2011?
Well, because I don't live in UK or USA I normally watch TV shows a bit late, so plenty of shows that I have seen just a few episodes and then decided that it's not for me. But the one I did watch when it was broadcast was Torchwood, and ended up watching just two episodes. It just wasn't Torchwood as I knew it anymore.

3. Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2011?
Being Human. Oh, I have it already on my computer, but I just haven't found the time/enthusiasm to start it. Maybe someday... ;) Oh, and Fringe.

4. Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2012?
Community and maybe Downton Abbey as everyone's been talking about it.

5. Which TV show impressed you least in 2011?
Torchwood. I have already expressed my opinion about it, but to conclude: it just wasn't Torchwood anymore, it was just another American cop/sci-fi show with no characters that I care about. Well except Jack, but even he wasn't the Jack that I loved in Doctor Who and Torchwood seasons 1 and 2.

6. Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2012 unless things significantly improve?
Torchwood, if it even gets another season.

7. Which TV show impressed you the most in 2011?
How I Met Your Mother. I loved Friends when it first aired and have been ever since trying to find another show to carry on as Friends did. The actors are amazing and the writing is delightful.

8. Which TV shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
Maybe Doctor Who, because I have been following it from the re-start (2005 if I remember correctly) and I'm absolutely hooked. Also, I'm going to watch HIMYM to the end, because the rumor has it that it won't have many more seasons left, so... I started watching it, I'm damn well going to finish it.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

1. Your main fandom(s) of the year:
The fandom I'm most active right now is Glee, but I still check Torchwood and Harry Potter fandoms, too, occasionally as I could never really part from them. Also HIMYM fandom, but mainly just lurking in that one.

2. Your favourite film this year:
King's Speech! Definitely. No question about it. It was a film filled with many excellent performances, actors were amazing, the script was brilliant, the costuming, the music, just everything.

3. Your favourite book this year:
I started Stephen Fry's Moab Is My Washpot and so far I'm loving it. I'm reading it very slow. Mainly when I'm visiting my parents and spending the night there, too, and need something to occupy my mind.

4. Your favourite TV show this year:
The Big Bang Theory, Glee, HIMYM, QI.

6. Your favourite LJ community this year:
[ profile] fanficrants. I can't really tell you why, maybe my masochistic streak is wider than I thought, I just do.

7. Your best new fandom discovery of the year:
I have to say Teefury. Damn those tee shirts should be a bit more expensive so I wouldn't spend my money on them. I've bought oh god, nine tee shirts from there this year. *hangs head in shame*

8. Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year:
I can't say. I'm usually quite satisfied with everything. At least I can't think of anything right now.

9. Your TV/Movie boyfriends of the year:
Darren Criss, Chris Colfer, Gareth David-Lloyd, John Barrowman, Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel, Kunal Nayyar, Russel Tovey. Oh god, who else? Matt Smith. Can you spot a trend there??? *grin* I like men who are confident about themselves and their sexuality.

10. Your TV/Movie girlfriends of the year:
Alex Kingston and Emma Watson. They are both so beautiful! I really do have enormous crush on those two.

11. Your biggest squee moment of the year:
Tom Price replying and re-tweeting my tweets! You should have heard me! I'm sure that the neighbourhood dogs were absolute menace because of the high-pitched squee I made!

12. Your most missed old fandom:
Torchwood... :(

I know I've been rather quiet lately, but I blame Tumblr. It's too addicting!!!

But here you have an icon meme, because I can't resist some memes...

default oldest newest
saddest happiest angriest
cutest sexiest funniest
fave ship fave fandom fave animated
best quote best textless best stolen idea
use the most favorite

IF YOU COULD BUY SPACE FOR MORE, WOULD YOU: I could, but I probably won’t
DO YOUR ICONS MAKE A STATEMENT: Definitely, or rather reflect my moods
AND THE SECOND MOST: The Big Bang Theory. Oh Sheldon and your facial expressions…
ARE THEY ANY GOOD: Some of them are quite good.
ANIMATED ICONS ARE: Amusing, entertaining and delightful

Coding can be found here

Okay, some of these were really hard. It's difficult to choose my favourite animated or favourite icon or best quote or funniest. I would've chosen multiple if that were possible. *sigh* But that is life. I hate choosing, I'd rather be indecisive than decide on anything. I guess my star sign is true on that case. I'm Libra and I weigh in my decision too long... XD

And LJ, what's up with lj cut? I couldn't get it to work the way I would've wanted!

I'm having this crazy craving for a HP fic. If I were a writer I'd write it, but alas I'm not, so... here it goes:

I was reading [ profile] fanficrants few days ago and the topic was once again HP. The rant in question had something to do with Harry and Voldemort and slightly dark!Harry (if I remember correctly) and I thought it would be absolutely hilarious if there was a crack fic where Voldemort didn't actually want to do those bad things that's been shown in canon, but was coerced to do them. I have this image of Voldie somehow being so clumsy that he accidentally murdered people and caused them harm even thought he absolutely did not want and in the end he had to just go with the flow, because people were so scared of him, while he really was just a big lug and hated to do all he did. Did I mention this would have to a crack fic?

Whew! So glad to get that off my chest. This idea has been bugging me for days now.

And if anyone of you lovely people on my flist actually know a fic like this, then I'd be more than happy and would send you endless e-cookies!

Have you by any change already met these little fellas, Pon and Zi? If not, why? If you have then this will serve as a reminder to go look at them again.

Why should you like these, you ask. Well, they are adorable:

So, I finally took pictures of the cubees that I made. The new ones include Eleven, Jack, Ianto and Weeping Angel.

Here are the newest additions to my collection:

jejo763: (Interesting thing about stairs)
Oh, I've forgotten to show you these. I made these a month or so ago and am now trying to find more of these wonderful Cubee things. Mainly Torchwood, but I don't know if they even exist. Anyhow, I still have Eleven and a Weeping Angel waiting, but I want more...

Sorry the picture's so crap.

But, if anyone's interested you can find these (and more) here.
jejo763: (LOL)
So I was bored (nothing new there) and this meme caught my eye. The idea is:

1 - Go to wikipedia and hit random. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”. Third picture no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use photoshop or similar ( is a free online photo editor) to put it all together.

5 - Post it with this text as a header and TAG the friends you want to join in.

My album cover below the cut... )

It looks like an album cover. Or at least I'd like to think so.

Not tagging anyone.

Wallpaper meme. Because I feel like it. Stolen from [ profile] nursedarry

♥ If you fancy it, post this meme and your current wallpaper
♥ Explain in 5 sentences (or less) why you're using it.
♥ Don't change your wallpaper before doing this.

I love this screen cap. And it is my favourite character, too, from this amazing tv show that only has TWO seasons (really! what? you don't believe me? I'm serious. Only two. *nodnod*).

I feel like I'm some sort of CSS genius right now. I mean I single-handedly fixed my contextual popups to look more pretty. I'm so proud of myself. And don't they look pretty? At least I think so. XD

So, Glee. Been watching it and I have to say I'm glad I'm not in high school anymore. Whew! Was I awkward back then? Hell yes! Was I someone who dearly would've wanted to melt in to the walls in case someone (not specific) was paying attention to me? You betcha. Was I bullied? Oh yeah. So, even though the show's pretty great to watch I continuously get these flash-back to my youth and I don't particularly want to live in the past. There is a reason it's in the past. A good reason. And yeah, I've seen the first four episodes of Glee and I can tell you my favourite is Kurt. He's so pretty. *squishes him*

My mother's coming up tomorrow and I have to clean. If I can manage that. It's still awfully hot around here. My fan (who I just now decided to call Myfanwy) has been on 24/7 and despite that it's frigging hot! So if it is even few degrees colder tomorrow I have to at the very least do the dishes. Or not. We'll see. My mother's around just for a quick visit as I left accidentally some things there during my last visit. Sigh. She has her holiday now and I spent almost all of the last week there and visiting my father and grand mother and now she's here. I left three days ago! Those things weren't so important. *shakes head*

Okay, enough of ranting. I'm gonna go and watch some more Glee and not do my school assigments.

I just realised that there were FIVE people by the name of Jack Harkness wandering (well, slightly worng word choice, but you know what I mean) in the 1941!!! FIVE!!! The original Captain Jack Harkness, the one meeting the Doctor and Rose, the one waiting for the Doctor in vain, the one under ground and the one with Toshiko!

So all these Jack's out there. Oh yeah! Let's party like there's no tomorrow. RTD, what were you thinking?

Pictorial evidence here )

I wonder if JB was slightly confused when considering in how many places he was at the same time. And how come this was not the cause of a HUGE paradox? And I definitely want to remember this when watching the Captain Jack Harkness episode again...

I, Jen, being of sound mind, hereby bequeath my entire estate to my pet rock. I do this because they showed me one night of real passion.

My only regret in this life was that I didn't sin enoungh.
