I'm anti-Twilight

I just had to react to this. My friend just posted in her blog that she had went to see the new Twilight movie (New Moon it's called if there's someone who accidentally doesn't know) and LOVED it... I have no reactions besides this:



I really can not understand the fascination of that particular piece of...let's just leave it at that. I actually have seen the first movie and just had to smother my giggles throughout the film as my friends watching the movie with me were enthralled and practically salivating.

Why? Why? I was ashamed to be their friends for a long time after that and still can't understand why. It's just like reading a effin' Harlequin, unpersonal and OTT. They still think I liked the movie and I will continue to let them think that way, if not for other reasons than simply because they are nice people to hang around with... sometimes.

I don't get all the fuss about Twilight, either, but let them have their fun. Just don't let your friends drag you to any more of the movies, and you'll be alright. *laughs*

Oh, believe me I have no intentions to go see that film. No sir! I'm much more happy with laughing at them behind their backs about their appaling taste. *evil grin*
